From Reykjavik, Iceland to Ephesus, Turkey
If you haven’t decided which cruise to opt for, there is still time to make a good choice for this summer and the prices are better than throughout the season, even if the discounts are coming to an end. The fact that prices have dropped in the last week tells me that there are still enough cabins available. But from my experience during the summer I only saw fully booked ships, so the companies will pull out all the marketing strategies in order to exceed the financial forecast announced for this year.
Few seasonal programs are as complex as that of Royal Caribbean International. The European summer program lines up nine award-winning ships that will cross 25 countries from the northernmost to the southernmost point of the continent, touching the Amalfi Coast, the Canary or Greek Islands, the Holy Land, Croatia or the British Isles. The program starts in May and has availability in 35 destinations for cruises from 5 to 12 nights. You can choose ships of all sizes, from the smallest but very chic Rapsody of the Seas (78,878 GT and 1,998 passengers) to the largest class in the world with Symphony of the Seas (228,081 GT and 6,680 passengers)
Now let’s see each ship and their destinations during the European summer.
