Do you enjoy meticulously planning out every detail of your cruise? Let me tell you the reason for my inquiry.
Whenever we book a cruise, one of the crucial decisions revolves around selecting the cabin. Opting for a guaranteed stateroom alleviates this concern. However, if you must choose a specific cabin, the decision-making process becomes a daunting task. Should it be positioned closer to the elevator for convenience or towards the AFT for a breathtaking view? Should proximity to dining options or entertainment venues take precedence? And thus, the myriad of questions ensue.
I can’t predict what your choice will be, as everyone approaches it from a unique perspective. However, one thing I can assure you is that you’ll find yourself spending a considerable amount of time traversing the lengthy hallways to and from your cabin. This is particularly true on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class ships, where the hallways are notably extensive. In our case, on Symphony of the Seas.
Have you ever wondered how long it takes to walk the 1000+ft long hallways?
Discover the answer in the following video packed with intriguing facts. It may assist you in making an informed choice.
After extensively exploring cabins across all areas of cruise ships, including those below sea level, I’ve come to realize one significant detail: I can navigate anywhere on the ship comfortably in flip-flops, but when it comes to high heels… it better be pretty close!
