Every tourist wants to reach the Italian Riviera at least once in his life. Few places in the world offer so much excitement through the multitude of sites offered to the traveler. We have beaches, sunny days, colorfully painted towns, natural environment, food, and luxury villas and hotels, hiking trails, yachting and the examples can go on. Let me to tell you that everything I expected to find, I found in abundance.
Magic appears right from the moment you set foot for the first time in Cinque Terre, regardless of the village where you start your journey. Depending on how much time you have available, you can visit all the towns, or just one. But believe me, it will be a loss for you. Each location tells a unique and personal story. Whether you are in Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola or Riomaggiore, you will discover centuries-old towns with scenic views that you will never forget.
In this post I want to show you the tour of the largest beach in Cinque Terre, in the village of Monterosso al Mare. It is the last on the route of the five, the furthest from La Spezia, where we started the journey and left the cruise ship behind.
The tour covers the entire Fegina beach, easily accessible by going down the stairs right in front of the train station. Even if it was crowded in certain parts, we didn’t feel that and we enjoyed what it had to offer.
